The Steiner Academy is an all-through school catering for children aged 4 - 16 years. In the 2018-19 academic year, we will have 478 pupils in classes from Reception to year 11. The school will add new classes at Reception (52 pupils) and Year 7 (26 pupils) until we reach full capacity of 624 pupils in 2021.
We currently only have limited places in Reception and Year 1.
All our year groups are full and have waiting lists except reception and year 1 that have limited spaces.
The Steiner Academy Exeter is committed to operating a fair and transparent admissions process, in accordance with the School Admissions Code, the School Admissions Appeals Code and admissions law as it applies to state funded schools.
There are two types of applications

School Admission appeals are administered in accordance with the requirements of the School Admission Appeals Code issued by the Department for Education. If you applied for a school place and your child has been refused admission to the Academy, you have the legal right to appeal against that decision. An appeal form can be downloaded here or requested from the Reception Office
