The Steiner Academy Exeter is committed to operating a fair and transparent admissions process, in accordance with the School Admissions Code, the School Admissions Appeals Code and admissions law as it applies to state funded schools.
There are two types of applications
- If your child will be Reception age or Year 7 in September 2020 then you must apply via
- In year admissions - for admissions to all other year groups
The admissions arrangements for each year apply to both types of applications.
We strongly recommend that you read the relevant admissions arrangements.
School Admission appeals are administered in accordance with the requirements of the School Admission Appeals Code issued by the Department for Education. If you applied for a school place and your child has been refused admission to the Academy, you have the legal right to appeal against that decision. An appeal form can be downloaded here or requested from the Reception Office
