Class 2 play
Hiawatha The Hiawatha story portrayed by Class 2
13th July 2016
By the shores of Gitche Gumee, by the shining Big-Sea-Water, Stood the wigwam of Nokomis, daughter of the Moon, Nokomis. Dark behind it rose the forest, rose the black and gloomy pine-trees, Rose the firs with cones upon them; bright before it beat the water, Beat the clear and sunny water, beat the shining Big-Sea-Water.
It was amazing to watch and listen to how well class 2 knew this story. They portrayed the story beautifully and supported anyone who briefly forgot the words! I can't believe how much they learnt, they all clearly enjoyed the experience and have grown up so much in this last year. I look forward to the next performance!.
